Having studied all the requisites, such as statistics, economics, management science, and organizational behavior, his elective courses included a highly esteemed entrepreneurship course, and a front line management course. His professional report was written on the collapse and restructuring of Bank of America.

While at Boise State, Ace studied theater, communications and psychology. He landed several acting roles, among them Dirk Winston in Mary, Mary and The Messenger in Sophicles' Antigoni. He also did professional magic to put himself through school and wrote a musical entitled "I Can't Believe It's Magic!"

Ace attended many competitive speaking tournaments bringing home many trophies for public speaking and oral interpretation. Ace captured the lead role of Romeo, in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. He also played several major roles including Doc Gibbs in Our Town, and the Inspector in Dial M for Murder.
