The reason I called this page "Starry
boys" and not just Starry family, was because there were so
darn many men in my family. My father John (the one that looks
like an older version of me) was unfortunate enough to only
produce male offspring. That would be Kirk, Stuart and Carl, the
three standing to my right. As fate would have it, my Uncle
Chord (kneeling in the hat) had boys, too. My cousins, Ron and
Mike, are the two on my left hand side. Ron's two boys Dylon and
Brian are the youngest of the boys (in front of me.) My oldest
brother Kirk, broke the chain and had a girl, Mellissa. Pictured
below. But his son, Colin is the one with his arms crossed. |
Of course there are a few girls in the
clan. They are certainly the best looking part of the Starry
group -- not to mention the brains of the bunch. The one in the
red is a "natural" born Starry, so she has to carry
all the bad genes. The rest of them were foolish enough to marry
into this crowd. They are from the red shirt across the back:
Mellisa, Pam, Carla, Aunt Shirley, Kristin (my wife) and Amy (my
mom.) Sitting on the deck in the white is our newest Starry girl
- Steffani. She and Carl just tied the knot in Sept. of 2001.
Next to her is Stuart's wife Shannon. |
