Team Overview:

Starry's Network Operations team supports Starry's growing national network, ensuring performance and reliability to meet customer demand. The team oversees operations and provides 24/7/365 monitoring, routing and IP transit, performance and implementation of proprietary gear, and defines configuration standards for best operational practices.

This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must be located in one of the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Washington DC.

What you'll do:

  • Design and build automation tools to support the NOC
  • Work with internal teams to identify areas to increase automation 
  • Work in all stages of software engineering, from concept and design through implementation, documentation, testing, and deployment
  • Work with NOC leadership to define success metrics based on automation to achieve efficiency objectives


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in automation
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in Python
  • Experience in software development and design
  • Experience integrating tools and systems using APIs

For Colorado residents: Salary range of $115,000 to $125,000. Final salary will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and training.
