The Affordable Connectivity Program

Thanks for your interest in enrolling in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The ACP provides eligible households with a $30/mo discount on high-speed internet until the program expires.

The ACP is expected to expire in April 2024. After the ACP program expires, households participating in the ACP will no longer receive the ACP discount and Starry’s regular rates will apply if they continue to receive Starry’s service. There is no fee to pause, change or cancel Starry’s service.

In order to enroll in the ACP, the federal government requires that we collect your date of birth to help ensure that only one person per household claims the benefit, so please enter your birthdate below.

By checking this box, you acknowledge and agree that at the end of the ACP program, your plan will automatically renew each month until canceled and you authorize Starry to automatically charge your payment method on file each month for your plan until you cancel. To avoid charges for the next month, cancel before the conclusion of the ACP program.

You also acknowledge that, prior to enrolling in the ACP, Starry clearly disclosed that the ACP is a government program that reduces the cost of service; that the eligible household will be subject to Starry’s undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions at the end of the program if they continue to receive service; that the eligible household may obtain service supported by the ACP from any participating provider, or switch participating providers without incurring an early termination fee; that the eligible household may cancel or change service plans, or may transfer their ACP to another provider at any time. You also acknowledge that Starry may disconnect the ACP-supported service after 90 consecutive days of non-payment.

If you are transferring your monthly ACP benefit from another provider to Starry, you understand that the ACP subsidy amount will no longer be applied to service retained from the provider from which you are transferring your ACP benefit. By transferring your ACP benefit to Starry, you acknowledge that you may be subject to the previous provider’s undiscounted rates if you elect to maintain that provider’s service.

Electronic Signature

By providing this electronic signature, you acknowledge that the ACP program rules limit eligible households to one benefit transfer per service month with limited exceptions. If you are eligible for a transfer exception, Starry must obtain your electronic signature before processing your transfer request.

The ACP is a program established by the Federal Communications Commission, and is distinct from the Starry Connect internet service offering. By enrolling in the ACP, you are also confirming that you will continue to receive Starry service after the expiration of the ACP program. The ACP is expected to expire in April 2024. All Starry Connect subscribers must affirmatively opt-in to continue to receive Starry Connect service at Starry’s regular rates after the conclusion of the ACP program by checking the box above. Starry will contact participating ACP subscribers prior to the conclusion of the ACP program period. All information that we collect is subject to and protected under Starry’s Privacy Notice.

Please note that if your monthly bill is reduced to $0 after the application of the ACP benefit, Starry reserves the right to remove any current promotional or trial period that has been applied to your account.

For example, if you enroll in a Starry plan that costs $30/month or less, and your monthly bill will be reduced to $0 after the application of the $30/month ACP benefit, then Starry may remove any current promotional or trial period from your account because your bill will be $0 per month. However, if you enroll in a Starry plan that costs more than $30 per month, and your monthly bill would not be reduced to $0 after the application of the $30/month ACP benefit, then Starry will not remove any current promotional or trial period from your account and the ACP benefit will be applied to your account after the end of the promotional or trial period.
