We’re happy to welcome the Jersey City Housing Authority to our Starry Connect program as our 9th public housing partner!

To celebrate our partnership, our employees and our local real estate partners donated more than 200 books focused on K-12 children to create a community youth lending library at Hudson Gardens.

The new community lending library is here just in time to help combat the “Summer Slide,” a term coined to describe the learning loss that occurs during the summer school break. Studies show that this learning loss phenomenon disproportionately affects children from low-income families who may not have access to resources to support ongoing summer learning. Developing and nurturing reading skills is a critical tool to combat the “summer slide,” and Starry is proud to support efforts to keep families reading and online!
