Keeping Our Communities Safe During COVID-19
Apr 7th, 2020
There’s no question. Broadband internet service is essential.
That’s why at Starry, we’re hard at work keeping our communities online during this challenging and difficult time. Our team is continuing to connect new customers, increase our network coverage and expand the availability of our Starry Connect program across public and affordable housing communities.
As we continue to provide this essential service to our communities, the health and safety of our customers, partners and employees remains our top priority. We’re laser-focused on safety and we’re following all recommended CDC guidelines and updating our rigorous protocols to respond to the evolving nature of this health emergency. That means, for all our teams that work directly with customers, we are:
- Wearing personal protective equipment, including mandatory masks and gloves on installations and customer interactions;
- Routinely and frequently cleaning and disinfecting equipment (routers, iPads) using antibacterial and alcohol-based wipes and using clean, new gloves each time equipment is handled;
- Practicing frequent hand-washing throughout the day and before and after all customer visits; and
- Strictly observing social distancing practices (no handshaking, maintaining a six foot distance when possible).
Our teams, from our installers to our Starry Experts, continue to provide all of our subscribers with world-class, personalized care, 24/7. We’re there to help you with whatever your needs may be, whether that’s finding your footing with working or schooling from home, figuring out what streaming box or services work best for your family, or troubleshooting WiFi connections in your home. Our team is there for you.
Starry has always been and will always be customer-first focused. Our mission is to connect as many people as possible to high-quality, affordable broadband access and our priority remains delivering an internet service experience that delights you, in both good times and in these most difficult circumstances.
We’re grateful for the continued support of our wonderful subscribers and building partners. As always, we look forward to hearing from you.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay connected.
