Starry Internet launches in Denver!
Jun 4th, 2019
We are thrilled, psyched, tickled-pink to announce we have officially launched service in Denver, expanding our internet footprint to five U.S. cities – a total serviceable market of 9 million households.
In the US, the lack of competition among internet service providers means high costs for consumers who want reliable, affordable internet without the bundles (who needs a landline anymore?). According to the FCC, more than half of American households do not have a choice in high-speed internet providers and more than 20 million Americans do not have any access to a high-speed internet broadband connection.
“Denver is an ideal market for Starry. With a vibrant economy, a young and dynamic workforce, our customer-centered service is the perfect fit,” says Stephan Andrade, General Manager of Denver.
By combining unique mix of talents from hardcore R&D, hardware and software engineering and RF design, we reduced the cost of deployment while owning every component of the system ourselves. This allows us to identify issues before they become problems and give our subscribers the best possible service every day.
We already love Denver and our team is staying busy working with real estate partners to deliver service to residents. Beginning in April, we kicked off a series of plogging events (jogging + picking up litter). Starry-sponsored races include Runnin’ of the Green St. Patrick’s Day 7k in historic LoDo and several Colorado Brewery Running Series 5ks - be on the lookout for our Starry swag! Our Denver team has big plans to go to Rockies’ Games and TopGolf in the nicer weather, which will inevitably make other offices jealous of the views.
Our team is building better, more affordable internet access all across the country - and we’re so excited to be able to bring it to Denver.

The internet won’t build itself, we need more people to help us bring super fast internet to their cities. We’re hiring, come work with us.
